As you might imagine, the coordination of an adventure like this is not for the faint of heart, and frankly, not for me as organization is not my strong suit. This is my wife, Aracelis. If you don't pity her, you should. Living with me is no easy feat. She has been supportive of my decision to do this from day one and aside from keeping the house together while I'm gone (as if she didn't do that while I was here) she will be mailing my resupply packages, updating my web page and will be working closely with the Russell Home to coordinate the fundraising process. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
 | This is my three-legged cat, Teenie. She will be keeping the carpet at home supplied with fresh hairballs and food barfs and while I won't be home to step on those in the middle of the night and feel the half-digested food pellets squish through my toes, she will be with me in spirit as the nightly foray of field mice in the shelters parade across my face and through my pack and other personal belongings. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

This is my brother and sister... Oh around 40 years ago :). They are inspirations to me in many ways. My brother went back to school to get his Masters degree and my sister decided to go to the Cordon Bleu culinary academy at age 47 because it's something she's always wanted.
