March 29-31, 2006 - Amicalola Falls to Approach Trail (GA)

The Amicalola Falls Lodge, a beautiful location at the top of a mountain in Amicalola Falls State Park. This was the perfect place to relax for a couple days before the hike.

The Approach Trail Leading to the trailhead - You still have to walk almost 9 miles up a mountain just to get to the start of the trail!

We've never done this before, but boy, do we look good!
